Neurofeedback and Peak Performance Training

Welcome to the website for The Brain Spa, the first Neurofeedback and Peak Performance training centre in Atlantic Canada and located in St. John's, Newfoundland. We invite your comments on our site as, like life, it is a work in progress.

We are not a diagnostic centre but, rather, we promote brain health as a function of overall wellness. There are currently over several thousand published studies demonstrating the efficacy of brain training in alleviating the symptoms of a wide range of problems including depression and anxiety, ADD/ADHD, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, addictions, Tourettes syndrome and other motor and tic disorders, age related cognitive decline, brain injury and many more. Take the time to browse our
Testimonials section for comments from recent clients. For detailed studies visit
www.isnr.org or www.eegspectrum.com or review the articles in our Articles section.

We regularly perform presentations and demonstrations for organizations, companies or for groups of individuals. If you would like to arrange a presentation please contact
Fred, our business manager, for details.

We have endeavored to provide answers to the most frequently asked questions as received from clients. If you have a question you wish to see in our FAQ section, please e-mail us and we will post our response.

Neurofeedback brain-training is a non-invasive and powerful method of taking control of your own brain functions and can have incredible effects on your general health and well-being.

"In my opinion, if any medication had demonstrated such a wide spectrum of efficacy, it would be universally accepted and widely used. It is a field to be taken seriously by all."

Frank H. Duffy, MD
Associate Editor for Neurology,
Clinical EEG Journal

Far less fashionable than Prozac or Paxil, neurofeedback seems to work by intervening in the realm of frequency. Frequency is the rate at which electrical charges move through brain cells.
